Medium-height, semideciduous forest on broad ridgetop, on volcanic-derived soils. Canopy irregular, 15-E5 m tall, with abundant epiphytes and lianas, canopy trees: Quercus, Brunnellia, Hedyosmum, Euterpe, Myrcia, Lauraceae spp. and occasional patches of Colpothrinax cooki i; understory with Psychotria, Synecanthus, Geonoma. 16°31 'N 88057'W 950-1000 m Wiry, pendent epiphyte; corolla white; mature fruits translucent-white. 11 May 1996 Bruce K.
