Wet, gravelly soil of wooded banks along Sinuban Creek.

Description
An erect, shub-like tree; stem 10 feet high; soft wood whitish; bark mottled, peeling in thin plates on the stem, smooth on the branches; leaves subchartaceous, a trifle paler green beneath; flowers upon short greenish-brown tubercles; pedicel and calyx greenish; petals white; pistil and filaments pale white; anthers pale yellow; young fruit obovoidly globose, 3-seeded. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
