1400-1450 m. Disturbed forest.
Shrub. Leaves often erect on horizontal
branches, stiff, coriaceous. Buds with
white powdery substance. Pedicel, calyx,
and corolla tube bright red; corolla limb
and lobes white. Berry green, immature.
