Terrestrial shrub with branches arching to 1.5 m;
rhachis green heavily suffused with purple; floral
bracts & bracteoles greenish-white; pedicels, calyx
& lower 3/4 of corolla bright red; upper 1/4 of corolla
white. In bud only. Infrequent.
