Lewis 3104 Psammisia aberrans A.C.Smith Ericaceae NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 02642490 det.J.Luteyn (NY), Aprii 1997 Province: Zamora-Chinchipe Loja- Zamora , km 34. 1750 m c.79° 02'W; 4°00'S 15 March 1997 Vegetation: bosque humedo premontano and secondary scrub on roadside scree. Scandent shrub to 1.5 m x 1.5 cm diam.; leaves coriaceous, mid-yellowish green, slightly paler below; pedicels, calyces and basal two thirds of fleshy corolla bright pinkish red, narrower apical third of corolla (including the lobes) white, persistent style pinkish red with purple apex.
