    Epiphytic climber; rarely terrestria. Shoots horizontal when epiphytic and dorsiventral when terrestrial. Rhizomes (propagules?) elongate and stringy.Calyx red and truncate; persistent in fruit. Corolla tubular; apically ventriocose on lower surface; oran.

terrestrial. Rhizomes (propagules?) elongate and stringy.Calyx red and
truncate; persistent in fruit. Corolla tubular; apically ventriocose on
lower surface; orangish-yellow with thick white villous pubescence;
lobes orangish-yellow; throat with red spotting on dorsal surface.
Nectary comprised of 5 separate glands. Staminode present.
