    Terrestrial herb, 20-40 cm tall. Rhizomes present. Common along stream and shady trailsides. Locally abundant, but not common. Calyx and corolla red. Corolla red; apically ventricose on ventral surface. Note: Freiberg treats this as K."Otonga/Cedros".
