Napo, Canton Tena. Jatun Sacha Biological Station, 8km east of
Misahualli (same as field collection David Neill 9458 = Tree to 8m tall,
15cm diameter. Primary forest understory, at edge of steep bluff above
river. Flowers white, 400 m., 77°36'W 01°04'S). Cultivated. Shrub, 1-5+
m tall. Calyx light green. Corolla tubular and bright white. Leaf material
collected for molecular systematic studies. Photographs of this collection
are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
