Flora of Bolivia Family: Rinorea lindeniana (Tul.) Kuntze ^ ^ Violaceae Ritter 3720 Determined by: N. Ritter (NHA), 1999 Department of Cochabamba Province of Carrasco The dirt road leading south out of Bulu Bulu towards Cerro El Salvador; ca. 12 km from town. Elevation: ca. 385 meters. 17°20'S 64°22W Understory tree. Extremely abundant: one of the principle components of the understory. Flowers yellow. Fruits present. Habitat: a patch of (until recently) relatively undisturbed 1° forest. Soils fine sand; overlying clay. This area was being logged at the time of this visit.
