Along old logging road, 15 km S of Mabura.
In forest on sandy loam, with Dicymbe altsonii [Clump
wallaba], Licania spp., Swartzia sp. [Parakusan].
Treelet, 5 m high. Young branches and young leaves
brown pubescent. Petals white, conspicuously fimbriate at
margin.
Separate: flowers in ale.
