IDAHO; Lemhi Co.; Salmon River, 4.7 miles southwest of Shoup, T23N R22W; north aspect; 100% slope; mossy rock crevices in steep cliffs composed of metamorphic silicate rock; occasional with Pseudotsuga menziesii, Glossopetalon nevadense, Montia arenicola, Hackelia davisii, Cystopteris fragilis, Heuchera grossulariifolia, Arabis microphylla, Sedum leibergii, Agropyron spicatum, Philadelphus lewisii, Cercocarpus ledifolius; petals reddish, seen abundantly in only one moist crevice.
