30°17’40”N, 95°28’17”W. alt. 52 m.
Disturbed original woods and edges, former piney woods
with Pinus taeda, Liquidambar styraciflua, Quercus spp.,
flat, sandy soil., now being developed for businesses and
residences.
Shrub 6 m. tall, 8 cm. in diameter, in shady understory of
woods; apparently same species as no. 57093, but leaves
thinner and sparser. Fruit green.
