United States of America. Colorado. Pitkin Co. Trail roughly following Continental Divide from Independence Pass parking lot (on CO 82) to summit of peak ca. 1.5 mi SW. Also seen on Lake County side of divide, especially near parking lot.

Mostly near granite outcrops. Rocky, alpine meadow with scattered granite outcrops. Infrequent.

Corolla violet, sometimes purple. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
