Tongde Xian: Lajia Xiang, ca. 2 km E of Lajiasi
(Ra’gyagoinba) on N side of the Huang He.
Annual or biennial to 1.2 m, often less; flowers
yellow, hardly opening.
Steep crumbling mudstone slopes, some rocky outcrops
near river, Artemisia dubia and Stipa, often bare
soil.
