junction with Forest Service Road 6N08. Near 34° 31’ 15.4”N
118° 26’ 45.0” W. T5N R15W NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec. 15. Elev.
ca. 1840 ft.
Narrow riparian corridor in canyon bottom with disturbed areas
along road. Surrounding slopes steep and rocky, mostly
metasedimentary substrate.
Canyon bottom with Platanus racemosa, Populus fremontii, Salix
lasiolepis, Toxicodendron diversilobum, and Rubus ursinus.
Slopes with scrub of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriogonum
fasciculatum, Brickellia nevinii, and Cercocarpus betuloides.
Small tree, locally established in riparian vegetation. Not planted
in this area.
