Disturbed shortgrass prairie on eroded, E and W-facing slopes
above lake and along Plum Creek below dam. Widely scattered
Populus deltoides and Tamarix ramosissima. Soil silty.
Scattered to locally common. Florets yellow. [22 individuals at
38.02521 °N, 101.81935°W; one individual at 38.03169°N,
101.82320°W.]
