white sand savanna. Liana, l^t-16 m up
in tree; inflorescence spikes to 30 cm
long; flowers in bud only, buds light
yellow, each subtended by a bract,
bracts ca. 1 cm long, proximally a
stalk, distally an inverted cup within
which is located E glands, each
slightly less than 1 mm in diameter.
