Plants of California Shasta County Trifolium striatum L Fabaceae (Leguminosae) Latitude 40° 25’ 33.3” Longitude 122° 02’ 25.1” T30N, R2W, southwest 1/4 Section 25. Normal size plants, on dry disturbed soil, just west ot the gate, on the road, on the south side of the Coleman Canal, 2.8 miles (air) west-southwest of Darah Springs State Fish Hatchery, about 12 miles (air) east-northeast of Cottonwood. Very common, widely scattered. Flowers white, aging reddish to brown. Foothill Woodland. Elevation 890 feet. Lowell Ahart, 10,181. 22 May, 2003.
