Rhynchosia tomentosa (L.) H. & A.
Habit decumbent. In ecotone between corn field
and open, oak woods; atop 15-ft. high bluff along
the Savannah River. Site #19 (Lat. 34o04,45";
Long. 82°39'19M), about one mile north of the
Ga. 72 bridge over the Savannah. Below the 475-
ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake;
impoundment of the Savannah River in the mid-1980*s).
