    In Quercus woodland.

  • Description

    A huge tree, ca. 3 ft. in trunk diameter or more. Possible escaped cultivation or naturalized, but numerous seedlings here and a few other large trees of this species here. A most unusual prostrate Lycopodium species seen here (rounded form, Lycopodium ?, forming mounds, strile Lycopodium sp.). Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
