Description
Erect perennial from branched caudex on sturdy taproot, flowering stems sparse, bracts red throughout or green-tipped, disk red or gold, petals blood-red; some plants grazed, some with massed ladybugs (because of rainy weather?). Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
