Found along the Old Farm road that runs between Old Bight (by Highschool) and Greenwood. Disturbed roadside scrubby low dry evergreen forest/coppice. 24° 12 34 N Longitude 75°20 72 W Either the vegetation or the roots are boiled and taken for a "loose stomach" (diarrhea). The decocotion is also reportedly used to to stop stomach pain, grippe, and to aid fish poisoning. Laurel R.
