Growing in coarse granitic soil on flat in open sun and in
some shade with Juniperus osteosperma, Qtiercus
turbinella, Forestiera pubescens, Purshia stansburiana,
Rhus aromatica, Bouteloua curtipendula,, Bouteloua
gracilis, Aristida purpurea, Sporobolus cryptandrus,
Dasyochloa pulchella, Xanthisma gracilis, Chamaesyce
dioica, Chamaesyce revoluta, Chamaesyce serpyllifolia,
Chamaesyce albomarginata Dalea brachystachys,
Evolvulus nuttallianus, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Artemisia
ludoviciana, Lotus rigidus, Evolvulus sericeus, Penstemon
barbatus, Eriogonum wrightii, Nolina microcarpa,
Desmanthus cooleyi, Gnaphalium canescens, Bothriochloa
barbinodis, Brickellia califomica, Rhynchosia Senna,
