Gallery forest. Bombacaceae dominant, also with Mimosaceae,
Myrtaceae. White sand. Epiphytic and terrestrial herb growing
throughout wet forest and rock. Leaves green, purple, or both.
Inflorescence axillary flowers, white-purple.
