Christian Feuillet Mar 2015 Guyana, Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Base of waterfall at Chinakuruk Creek. 5° 36' 53 "N, 60° 42' 02" W Elev. 568 m. Scleria, orchids, Poaceae, Gesneriaceae dominant at falls. Erect herb growing in splash zone of falls and up waterfall cliff. Leaf green with red petiole venation. Entire plant covered in short trichomes. Calyx dark red, corolla deep red.
