On steep slope dominated by Cercocarpus ledifolius, Artemisia tridentata tridentata, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Elymus spicatus. Aspect southeast. With Ipomopsis aggregata, Chaenatctis douglasii, and Bromus tectorum. Common.
