Bagaduce Road, 0.8 mile south of Harts Comer
Cemetery, about 1.1 miles northwest of Hancock
County line. Elevation 200-220 feet. Disturbed level
sand, gravel, granitic - gneissic boulders.
Mowed area with non-native grasses at margin of mixed
mesic forest and swamp, dominants included Tsuga
canadensis, Pinus strobus, Abies balsamea, Picea
rubens, Fraxinus, Acer. Rather common climbing herb
with pinkish, rose-purple flowers; stems about 1 meter
long; weedy plantings and cleared property edge, south
end of parking area at roadside.
