downstream approximately one mile, T8S R5W SW1/4 sec. 15,
SE comer sec. 16, Nl/2 NE1/4 sec. 21. Elev. 1600' - 17601.
Surrounding slopes with chaparral of Adenostoma fasciculatum,
Ceanothus crassifolius, C. spinosus, Quercus dumosa, Rhamnus
ilicifolia, and Heteromeles arbutifolia. Canyon bottom with
Quercus agrifolia woodland on higher benches and riparian
woodland of Platanus racemosa, Salix lasiolepis, and Baccharis
salicifolia along active stream channel.
Annual vine, flowers reddish-purple. Single robust plant growing
up through Baccharis salicifolia on dry bench, area of narrows and
cataracts, SW comer sec. 15 and SE comer sec. 16.
