Perennial, entirely herbaceous above ground, possibly with a semi-rhizomatous root system. Stems decumbent. Localized in saddle on a decomposed granite substrate, dominating an area ca 8 by 5 meters square with a couple of outlier plants nearby. Corollas deep purplish-blue.
