immediately adjacent flats and slopes; ca 130 m N to 250
m NNW of Icy Springs; Valyermo 7.51 USGS topo sheet;
T4N R9W, S/2 SW/4 SE/4 section 36; elevation ca.
5620-5685 feet.
Vegetation on the adjacent slopes to the SW
dominated by woodland of Pinus jeffreyi, Pseudotsuga
macrocarpa, Quercus chrysolepis, and scattered
Calocedrus decurrens, Abies concobr, and Acer
macrophyllum. Riparian area a broad expanse of
bouldery to gravelly alluvium.
Locally uncommon perennial; abaxial side of banner
glabrous to slightly pubescent distally; keel ciliate above.
