drained, neutral to slightly acid fine sand (Patilo Series,
Grossarenic Paleustalfs), 100 ft. N of Hoppy Spring, ca. 0.8-
0.9 airmiles S to SSE of jet. St. Rt. 21 and F. M. 1441 NE of
Bastrop, at N30°08.427’, W97°13.225”. Bastrop State Park.
Smithville NW Quadrangle. Elev. 450 ft. Area burned
during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011.
Associates included Cyperus strigosus, other Cyperus spp., Dichanthelium
spp., Froelichia latifolia, Helianthus debilis, Mollugo verticillata, Panicum
brachyanthum, Phytolacca americana, Portulaca umbraticola.
