Family Euphorbiaceae Common Name Milky Weed, Milk Weed Description Herb with small greenish fruits and greenish flowers. Plant exudes a milky white sap when broken. Location/Habitat Orange Creek, in Ann Burrow's yard. Disturbed yard. Latitude 24°37 89 N Longitude 75°4r61W Uses/Comments The white sap is rubbed on ring worm. Plant is boiled and the decoction taken to help stop lactation or to bring a fever down. Not previously listed as occurring on Cat Island (Correll & Correll, 1982). Collector(s) Laurel R.
