Mormal size stems. Found growing on damp hare
soil of a hare bank along the South Fork of
the Feather River, south of the Feather Fork
Mine, about l£ miles north-east of Little
Grass Valley Res., about miles north of
La Porte, California. The plant is oommon
about $ - i mile north on up the river. The
flowers are yellow and older flowers dry
brown. A very attractive plant.
