Associates included Carex cherokeensis, Celtis laevigata, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Cornus drummondii, Galium aparine, Geum canadense, Ilex decidua, Quercus virginiana, Ranunculus fascicularis, Rubus sp., Ulmus americana, Verbesina virginica.
