mapped as very deep, moderately well drained, friable,
moderately acid clay loam (Wilson series, Oxyaquic Vertic
Haplustalfs), N side of I-10 just W of jet. St. Rt. 71, W side
of Columbus, at N29°41.655\ W096°34.501\ Columbus
Quadrangle. Elev. 220 ft.
Associates included Acacia smalla, Ambrosia psilostachya, A. trifida,
Callicarpa americana, Celtis laevigata, Cissus incisa, Cynodon dactylon,
Cyperus entrerianus, Diospyros texana, Fraxinus pennsylvanica,
