Bailey Sterile shrub. Have never seen this plant fertile in the 5 years I have been working in the Bahamas. Commonly an ornamental. Leaves are odd pinnately compound with 5-9 leaflets. The leaflets are green with white variegation along the edges and veins. Bennett's Harbour in the yard of the Primary School. Cultivated yard. 24°33 73 N Longitude 75°38 19 W Several take the boiled decoction of the limbs for cold, cough, fever, flu, high blood pressure, and pain. Some reported using the decocotion for washing the hair to strenghen it. Not previously listed as occurring on Cat Island (Correll & Correll, 1982) Laurel R.
