Milky Weed, Milk Weed
Herb with white flowers and fruits. Vegetation and fruits have a
reddish-purplish-green color. Plants exude a milky white sap.
Port Royal, in the yard of a house that is under construction (only the
foundation is laid). House sits at the top of a hill and is owned by Emily
Rolle's relative. Disturbed yard.

The white sap is rubbed on ring worm. Plant is boiled and the decoction
taken to help stop lactation or to bring a fever down. Not previously listed
as occurring on Cat Island (Correll & Correll, 1982).
