Formation (-Edwards Formation), on soils mapped as
shallow, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline clay
loam (Tarrant series, Lithic Calciustolls), near Bexar Co.
line on Mayberry Tract (a San Antonio Parks & Recreation
Department natural area), ca. 3.2 airmiles N of jet. R. M.
1283 and St. Rt. 471 (Culebra Rd.) at Cliff, at N29°33.895’,
W098o48.411\ San Geronimo Quadrangle. Elev. 1180 ft.
Associates included Acacia roemeriana, Berberis trifoliolata, Brickellia
cylindracea, Celtis reticulata, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Cocculus
carolinus, Croton fruticulosus, Dasylirion texanum, Dichanthium
annulatum, Elymus virginicus, Eupatorium havanense, Euphorbia
cyathophora. Festuca versuta, Forestiera pubescens, Galactia texana,
