Nee, 2014 WISCONSIN, Taylor Co., Chequamegon National Forest, along Forest Road 568, 0.6 km NW of junction with Mondeaux Avenue/Forest Road 102. 45°1756N, 90°2940W. alt. 434 m. T 33 N; R 1 W; NE 'A sect. 33. Woods of Populus tremuloides, Acer rubrum, Alnus incana ssp. rugosa, Prunus serótina, P. virginiana, Corylus americana, Cornus racemosa. Shrub 2.8 m. tall, with several arching stems to 2.2 cm. in diameter in a loose clump. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Fruiting involucre green.
