Secondary woods of Populus tremuloides, Betula
papyrifera, Abies balsamea.
Several stems in a clump (clone?), 3—4 m. tall, 3.5 cm. in
diameter. Stems with slightly recurved thorns to 3.5 cm.
long. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Fruit bright red.
