Common Name Black Granny Bush, Granny Bush
Description	Shrub with white flowers and immature green or mature bright red
fruits. The leaves have a characteristic feel, kind of like sand
paper.
Location/Habitat Port Howe, near the grave yard, just up from the beach strand just off the
main road.

Uses/Comments The limbs are boiled in water and taken for pain (in general and
menstrual). Postpartum mother's drink and are bathed in the decoction for
9 dyas, to aid in removal of the placenta, "bruises and clots." Some add
in Bush Tea or drink alone for fertility
