side of Hwy 77, just N of junction with CR 411. Little bluestem field with small
intermittant creek in semi-forested ravine. Sandy soils with some clay mixed in.
Associates include Schizachyrium scoparium, Hymenopappus, Opuntia, Yucca,
Stillingia, Carya, Rumex, Berlandieri, Gaillardia, Helianthemum, Linum,
Tradescantia, Rudbeckia, Asclepias tuberosa, Ipomea, Coreopsis, Oenothera,
Polygala verticillata, Prunus, Polygonum, Quercus nigra, Verbena, Erigeron,
Allium.
Plant a woody herb, not exactly a shrub. Stalks 1.5-3 feet tall.
Lat. 30° 28.69' N, Long. 96° 59.45' W.	435 feet elev.
