Associates include Quercus stellata, Pinus taeda, Juniperus sp., Dichondra recurvata, Scutellaria drummondii, Hedeoma acinioides, Verbena brasiliensis. Yellow disc and ray flowers, with ray flowers curled up in the afternoon sun. Perennial. Lat. 30° 10.97' N, Long. 97° .87' W. 545 feet elev. 02578756
