Tree about 4.5 meters tall. Specimens with purplish-blue fruits.
South of Salt Pond, along a trail that runs NE of the first abandoned house,
1.7 miles south of the Esso Station, on the east side of the Queen's
Highway. House sits down a gravel road, on top of a hill. Beautiful non-
disturbed old growth coppice.

Berries edible and are eaten to give one "blood" if have "low blood." Also
eaten for anemia and iron. Branches or roots often included in bush tea
remedies. I fell out of the tree trying to get this damn specimen-Ouch!
