    Sun. Upper Sonoran: Yucca whipplei and Ceanothus cuneatus. Abundant. Serpentine rock.

  • Description

    Tree 30 ft., spread 25 ft., trunk diameter 22 inches at 4 ft. Most of the trees smaller than this one. Cypresses abundant in an area 0.75-1 mile north and south and about 0.5 mile east and west. Most trees less than 30 ft, high. Apparently many have been cut for wood, etc. No recent fires. Quite a lot of variation in horns on the cones. The young cones are a rich chestnut brown. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
