Edge of ridgetop woods and grassy top of old quarry, Tilia
americana, Carya ovata, Quercus alba, Podophyllum
peltatum.
Patches, the plants to 1 m. tall; stems maximum 0.8 cm in
diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Flowers
yellow-green.
