U.S.A. Elaeagnaceae Elaeagnus umbellata Thunb. det. M. Nee, 2015 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 3.8 km E of Gotham, Button Bluff, NE of Button Cemetery along Hwy. JJ. 43°1324N, 90°1431W. alt. 320 m. T 9 N; R 2 E; SEy4SWl/4 sect. 27. Upper edge of old dolomite quarry on ridge, with a few Juniperus virginiana, Lonicera maackii. Shrub 3 m. tall, with 3 large arching stems to 7 cm. in diameter and 8 years old, in a clump and some sprouts. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw, the wood from the largest stem.
