Chusquea aff. lehmannii Pilger
Tolima: Mun. Cajamarca, highway from La Linea to Ibague, 18.9 km W
of Cajamarca, 2890 m. 4°27'30" N, 75°33' W.
In secondary vegetation along roadside, more or less common, all
vegetative. Culms erect at the base and arching above, to 1.5 cm in
diameter, to 4-5 m tall. Branching extravaginal. Culm leaves waxy-
farinose when young, blade slightly cordate and rugose at the base,
especially noticeable in younger and smaller shoots. Treated with 70%
EtOH.
