HUNT CO.: stems erect; petals creamy white with small
purple blotch near base; locally frequent in sumpweed-
dominated phase of prairie grassland on floodplain of major
stream, on soils mapped as deep, somewhat poorly drained,
mildly alkaline clay Vertisols (Kaufman Series), SW comer of
Cowleech Prairie Preserve, ca. 100-200 ft. N of Co. Rd.
3128 from a point 1.1 roadmiles E of its jet. with US Rt. 69
S of Greenville, at N33°04'08.5”, W096°00’30.6”.
Greenville SE Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 465 ft.
Associates included Ambrosia trifida, Cardiospermum halicacabum,
Dracopis amplexicaulis, Iva annua, Solidago canadensis, Tripsacum
dactyloides.
