strip of forest with many Buriti
( PA o+.-r_) palms &
Psychotria tomentosa. One with rhizone
growing + at 40° anticlockwise through 120°
on a 60 cm. DBH tree bearing a thin moss &
lichen cover. Very dry at collection time.
Lamina olive green & matt both surfaces.
Stipes chestnut & olive-green. Also
collected from crotch of a large bough of a
fallen tree, rooted in moss; & from trees
290, 35^, 358 4 on Buriti palms. Often with
Peperomia (B.L. Stannard ....).
